Simple and easy, step-by-step instructions for how to draw a T. Rex for kids.
STEP 1: BIG SHAPES
Draw a big oval for the body, a circle for the head, and a triangle for the tail.
- One large oval (body)
- One smaller circle (head)
- Head slightly overlaps body
- One small triangle for the tail
STEP 2: ADD LEGS & ARMS
Add two strong legs and two tiny arms!
- Two thick back legs (like upside-down “U” shapes)
- Small feet at the bottom
- Lines on legs for toes
- Two tiny arms
- Short lines for little claws
STEP 3: ADD EYES , MOUTH, & TEETH
Give your T-Rex a face!
- Eye (big circle + dot)
- Eye brow optional
- Open mouth shape on head
- Teeth (small triangles)
STEP 4: SPIKES
Add spikes along the back and head!
- Optional: Triangle spikes on back and head
